Anyone here using cox.net and successfully setup their news servers? I get an error when I try to retrieve the newsgroup list and looks like I get maybe a tenth of the list. I get the "An unknown error has occurred"!

It is a known bug and is for any news server except Microsfts own server. Should be fixed in the next build I suspect. They have already fixed it internally I believe.

I'm having the same issue with COX.net. Reading further in the thread it looks like it's a known bug. Nice. Saves me the effort of spending time on this.

Go to tools, options and uncheck the option to use communities support features. Now try and redownload your newsgroups. Its not a total fix but I have seen it fix it once so it might work.
